So here I was thinking I would have no net for a little while between houses… In fact it turned out to be some thing far worse. Turns out there is so much jitter on the line that I will never be able to play online games. So in till the NBN goes in, I’m officially retired from gaming. For those of you that don’t know what I’m talking about, jitter is the lag between info packets sent over the net. Think a garden hose that has air pockets, lots of them. Every time I hit an air pocket my net locks up. It’s sad, because the net connection is really fast, just not stable. With Telstra being Telstra, they only need to give me a connection, thy make no claim as to the quality. Still not going any where, but from now on I fill jut be a forum and mumble user only.

Well, we finally get the keys to our new house on Friday XD. So excited. But with the move of house, also comes the move of internet. So, I will be offline for a weeks some time from Friday onwards. On the upside, my new place is much closer to the exchange so much faster speed. Any way, I will get this server thing sorted out with you guys before I disappear and if all else fails I can always pop on the mumble iPhone app or log into here from the phone too. Oh and yes boys, I can be around for the LoL match Thursday, though I know we havent decided on who is playing just yet.

I think I might have finally got two of my mates to agree to playing online. They are really really bad at multiplayer, so they have never bothered to take the time to actually learn it. Now that games need master servers to play on, LAN is a fast dying thing. This means, like it or not, they will have to start learning to play online against real people if they want to play together (ignoring Co-op). This brings me to my reason for putting this up. They are very shy when it comes team clans/teams, as the last time they jumped in a group with me, the guys verbally beat them down (they where joking, kind of… you know how we are with each other). Any way, if some guys come on tonight and I say they are my mates… please go easy on them. Yes they will be uber shit at BF3, but Im hoping with time they will get better. Be nice to have them around socially, I think they could do with a good group of guys to play with. You all seem nice, so if I can…

So my son is turning 6 next week and Im flying over. Just wondering, what are some cool places to eat and what fun things are there for a child to do around the area? Any ideas and help would be great.
