holy shit!

Awesome new info.

1. One problem that existed in Quake Wars was that when the teams were significantly unbalanced
players would end up being stuck on the first objective for the entire 20 minutes.
This was of course no fun for the attacking team because they were getting raped for the duration of the match,
but also would become pretty damn boring for the defenders. How SD have decided to fix this is by
only allowing a small portion of time for the first objective so that if the teams are significantly uneven,
players will not be stuck there for 20 minutes playing out a pointless match until time runs out and the teams
are finally shuffled. Once the first objective is completed, then the time limit is increased.

2. Another annoying part of QW gameplay was that if a team planted explosives on an objective in the last
39 seconds of the game there was no chance of winning because time would run out before it detonated.
In Brink however, if a charge is planted and time runs out while it is still counting down, the game will go into extra time
to see if the defenders can disarm it! The same also applies if you are in the middle of hacking an objective when
the map finishes. Brilliant.
