I can think 0f a few already! Think 0f things l0cal, and things less l0cal. Y0u might have s0mething ar0und y0u which emits radi0 waves that 0thers might n0t have!!

Wireless Tranceiver Units

Have been creating a WSN data logger (Wireless Sensor Network), so I have a bunch of high power (25mW output, legal limit) radio transceivers. With the right antenna (yagi), I was able to get 2km or so… To check signal quality, I had it send a ‘ping’, and display the results on a screen, and beep. The pin would send, the other end would transmit exactly what it saw back, and my end would display it.

That’s what I personally do in my spare time :-).
