I use a g5, i only got it maybe 3 months ago now. Granted i was at kapooka for a month of that time but i love the mouse! like pingey said its got very few buttons, 2 extras which i used to use for stroyent up/down but dont even bother with any more. theres also the option of pushing the mousewheel to either side as an extra 2 buttons, i havent bothered tho i was thinking of using it for maybe ‘use’ or something.
As far as smoothness goes, this is a helluva lot smoother than the previous mice i’ve used in bf2, aoe2, etc which were dell and mircosoft ones.. i picked up the g5 for about $40 too so it wasnt too bad pricewise.
I reckon the main thing to look for is how they fit your hand, i think big hands fit logitech better but smaller hands are more suited to razrs
