Battlefield Bad Company 2

Been looking forward to this one for awhile actually…

Bad Company was one of the first games I got for the PS3. Nice limited amounts of destructiveness to your surroundings. I don’t think that it rated too well, at least with people who actually played it, but I rather enjoyed it. If the sequel is much the same as the original, but with the standard incremental enhancements, I would definitely be giving this one a go.

2010 shaping up to be another good year for the PS3. So many games I actually want on both the PS3 and the PC. Bugger that really. Just hook the gaming rig up to the TV, get a gamepad, and its an IPX schlacking fest in 1080p HD thru a f**king viewscreen.

I actually thought there was a bug because I put up about 40 keys and after I did that, it showed zero available.
I looked closer thinking I’d screwed something up – but basically it looks like a bunch of people had been sitting there hitting refresh on that page and snagged them the INSTANT they were available. So they all got munched basically instantly.

So basically, there were 40, and IPX got 2 of those 40… not bad. Figured you’d have to be quick, but not that quick!

Sorry to those that missed out! We’re trying to get some more though but it probably won’t be until late Monday (when EA/Dice are back in the office).
edit: for those that missed out, the next batch we’ll probably advertise via the forums next, so plz keep an eye out here first. Forum peeps always get first go at these sorts of things!

I’m in the process of downloading the demo for the XBOX now, no Beta keys required? Do publishers even take the PC as a gaming platform seriously any more?

looks good, takes a bit of getting use to.
no strafe running. game play is full on.

very cheap on steam, you get open access to the beta as well.

owned the beta (pre-order) for a couple of days now, and the game aint half bad.

its like playing pool on a king sized table, compared to codmw2. bullet drop over range and velocity changes made that are very similar to what i did with bf1942.

As in gravity affects bullets.

Oh and punkbuster. Don’t forget the punkbuster. Alas it isnt activated through the GUI yet.

I have 1 key if anyone wants it.

it happen to me the other night. i was flying along and BAM i dead.

It’s not as cool, but spray the pilot with an assault rifle and he’ll still suffer a negative lead to gravity ratio if your persistent enough (insert Mwa ha ha ha ha ha ha here). My hot tip is that if you are and engie in seats four and five of the blackhawk you can use your repair tool to repair in midair, and that is confirmed! However be careful, there is a bug that if its a stolen chopper you may actually destroy it (that’s why you can’t take screwdrivers on jumbo jets my friends LOL)
